Bag Policy Texas State Fair

Hey there, fellow Texans! As we gear up for the iconic Texas State Fair, let's talk about something that might not be on your radar, but totally should be: the bag policy! Think about it, just like how you plan your outfit for a day at the fair, you should also plan your bag game.

Imagine showing up to the fair, corndog in hand, only to be stopped at the gate because your bag doesn't meet the requirements. It's like trying to get into a popular restaurant without a reservation - not gonna happen! The clear bag policy is in place to ensure everyone's safety, and it's actually pretty straightforward.

What's the big deal about bags?

The clear bag policy is designed to make it easier for security to check your belongings, kind of like how you quickly scan your purse or backpack before heading out the door. It's not about being a bag police, but more about keeping everyone safe and sound. By using a clear bag, you're helping the fair staff do their job more efficiently.

Now, you might be wondering, what constitutes a clear bag? Think of it like a big, transparent tote bag that lets security see what's inside without having to dig through it. You can use a one-gallon Ziploc bag or a clear plastic bag that's about 12" x 6" x 12" in size - easy peasy! Just like how you pack a lunch for work or school, you can pack your fair essentials in a clear bag.

But don't worry, you won't have to sacrifice style for security! There are plenty of cute and functional clear bags out there that'll make you wonder how you ever lived without one. You can even find clear fanny packs or clear backpacks that are perfect for carrying all your fair must-haves, from sunscreen to a extra set of clothes (just in case!).
