So, you're planning to attend the Byron Nelson tournament in 2022 and you're wondering what you can and can't bring to the course? Well, let me tell you, it's always a good idea to check the bag policy beforehand, just like you would check the weather forecast before heading out. After all, you don't want to be stuck at the gate, forced to surrender your favorite snacks or sunscreen because they're not allowed in.
About the Bag Policy
The Byron Nelson bag policy is designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, and it's actually pretty straightforward. You can bring in clear bags that are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller, which is roughly the size of a small backpack or a large purse. This means you can still pack all the essentials, like your phone, wallet, and water bottle, without any issues.
But, just like how you have to follow the rules of the road when driving, there are some items that are strictly prohibited from being brought into the course. These include weapons, Coolers, and outside food and drinks, so be sure to leave those at home or in the car. It's all about keeping everyone safe and having a great time, just like a big family picnic, but with better golf!
