Capitol One Arena Bag Policy

Heading to an event at Capitol One Arena? You're in for a treat! The arena is home to the Washington Capitals and Wizards, and hosts a wide range of concerts and shows throughout the year. But before you get to the fun part, you'll want to make sure you're aware of the bag policy in place to ensure a safe and smooth experience for all attendees.

The purpose of the bag policy is to provide a secure environment for everyone at the arena. By restricting the types and sizes of bags that can be brought in, the arena can minimize the risk of prohibited items entering the premises. This enhances the overall safety of the venue and allows fans to focus on enjoying the event.

So, what are the specifics of the bag policy? Small purses and clutch bags are allowed, but larger bags, such as backpacks and laptops bags, are not permitted. It's a good idea to check the arena's website before your visit to confirm the most up-to-date information on bag sizes and types.

If you're planning to bring a bag to the arena, consider using a clear plastic bag to make the security screening process easier and faster. You can also take advantage of the arena's bag check service, which allows you to store your bag in a secure location outside the venue.
