Dow Event Center Bag Policy

So, you're heading to the Dow Event Center for a concert, comedy show, or maybe a sports game? Great choice! Before you grab your tickets and get pumped, let's talk about the super important bag policy - trust us, you don't want to get stuck at the door!

First off, the Dow Event Center has a clear bag policy in place, which means you can only bring in clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags. Yep, you read that right - clear bags only! This includes purses, totes, and even those cute little clutches you love so much.

The rules are pretty simple: your bag needs to be 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller, and it's gotta be completely transparent. Don't worry, you can still bring in your phone, wallet, and keys - just make sure they're in a clear bag, or you can use a small clutch that fits in the palm of your hand.

But why, you ask?

The reason behind this policy is safety and security, of course! The Dow Event Center wants to make sure everyone has an amazing time, without any, ahem, "bag-gage" issues. It's all about quick and easy entry, so you can get to your seat and enjoy the show without any hassle.

Here's a fun fact: did you know that the clear bag policy is actually a NFL and NCAA requirement? Yep, it's not just the Dow Event Center - many venues are jumping on the clear bag bandwagon to keep things safe and secure.

So, what can you do if you don't have a clear bag? Don't panic! You can still bring in a small clutch or buy a clear bag at the venue. Just remember, it's all about being prepared and knowing the rules before you arrive.

Tips and Tricks

If you're planning to bring a bag, make sure it's completely clear - we mean it! No opaque bags, no mesh bags, no bags with fancy designs... you get the idea. And hey, if you're feeling extra stylish, you can even find some pretty cool clear bags online.

Another thing to keep in mind: prohibited items are still, well, prohibited - even if they're in a clear bag! Leave the outside food and drink at home, and don't even think about bringing in weapons or fireworks... yeah, that's just common sense.

Finally, if you're still unsure about the bag policy, you can always check the Dow Event Center website for the latest info. They've got all the details you need to know, from bag sizes to prohibited items.
