Fedex Field Clear Bag Policy

So, you're planning to catch a game at Fedex Field, home of the Washington Redskins? Well, before you start screaming "Hail to the Redskins!" and painting your face with team spirit, make sure you're aware of the in place. Trust us, you don't want to be that person who gets turned away at the gate because your bag is not compliant!

Let's get down to business - what exactly is the clear bag policy? In a nutshell, it means that all bags must be transparent and made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC, with the exception of small clutch bags (around 5" x 7" in size). Don't even think about trying to sneak in a giant purse or backpack, or you'll be sent packing!

Why the Clear Bag Policy?

The clear bag policy is in place for security reasons, plain and simple. With the rise of, ahem, "unsavory" characters trying to sneak prohibited items into stadiums, teams and venues had to get creative to keep fans safe. And let's be real, who needs a giant bag full of "essentials" when you can just bring the basics and enjoy the game?

But don't worry, folks - the clear bag policy isn't all doom and gloom. In fact, it's been adopted by many stadiums and venues across the country, so you're probably already a pro at packing light. Just remember to check the stadium's website before you head out, as the policy may vary slightly from place to place. And hey, if all else fails, you can always stuff your pockets like a pro!

In all seriousness, the clear bag policy is a small price to pay for a fun and safe experience at Fedex Field. So, pack those clear bags, grab your favorite jersey, and get ready to cheer on your team in style! Just remember to leave the giant bag at home, and you'll be golden. And hey, if you do happen to forget, there are always plenty of options for buying team gear and snacks once you're inside the stadium.
