So, you're heading to an Ohio State game in 2017 and you're wondering what's the deal with their bag policy. Well, let me tell you, it's a real thing and you don't want to get caught with the wrong bag, or you'll be bagged out of the stadium. The policy was put in place to ensure fan safety, and we're not kidding around here.
The policy states that only clear bags made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC are allowed in the stadium, and they must be completely clear - no opaque or translucent bags, folks. You can also bring in a small clutch or wallet, but it has to be smaller than 5x7 inches, so don't even think about trying to sneak in that huge purse. And, of course, all bags are subject to search, so don't try to hide anything in there.
But Why, Ohio State, Why?
The reason behind this policy is to enhance security and make it easier for fans to get into the stadium quickly. With clear bags, security personnel can easily inspect the contents without having to rummage through a bunch of black holes. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good clear bag - it's like a fishbowl for your stuff.
