Ohio State Bag Policy 2018

Hey there, Buckeyes! If you're planning to attend any events at Ohio State University in 2018, you should know about the new bag policy that's in place. It's kind of like when you're trying to get into a concert and you have to check your giant purse or backpack - security first!

So, what's the big deal about bags? Well, think about it like this: when you're at a crowded event, like a football game or a music festival, there are a lot of people and a lot of stuff that can potentially be a security risk. By limiting the types of bags that can be brought in, Ohio State is trying to make sure everyone stays safe and has a good time.

What's Allowed, What's Not

According to the policy, you can bring in bags that are clear, like a plastic tote or a Ziploc bag, as long as they're not bigger than 12x6x12 inches. You can also bring in small clutch bags that are about the size of a hand, as long as they're not bigger than 4.5x6.5 inches. But, if you've got a big ol' backpack or a duffel bag, you're out of luck!

Now, you might be thinking, "But what about my lunch? Can I still bring in my sandwich and snacks?" The answer is yes! You can bring in small food and drink containers, as long as they're not in a bag that's not allowed. It's kind of like packing a picnic lunch for a day at the park - just make sure you're not bringing in any prohibited items!
