Outside Lands 2022 Bag Policy

So, you're heading to Outside Lands 2022 and you're wondering what's up with the bag policy? Well, let me tell you, it's not as scary as it sounds. Just remember, clear bags are your friends - more on that later!

First off, the bag policy is in place for safety reasons, which is totally fair, right? We all want to have a good time without worrying about, you know, stuff happening. So, make sure to check the official Outside Lands website for the most up-to-date info on what's allowed and what's not.

What's the Deal with Clear Bags?

So, about those clear bags... basically, if you want to bring a bag into the festival, it's gotta be clear and it's gotta be 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. Yeah, it's like they say: what happens at Outside Lands, stays at Outside Lands - but only if you can fit it in a clear bag, of course!

But wait, there's more! If you're one of those people who likes to overprepare (you know who you are), don't worry, you can still bring some essentials like sunscreen, a phone charger, and a portable charger (because, let's be real, your phone's gonna die the moment The Strokes take the stage). Just make sure they're in a clear plastic bag or a small clutch - yeah, that's a real thing!

Don't Even Think About It

Now, let's get to the no-nos. Don't even think about bringing a backpack, luggage, or a bin (like, who tries to sneak a bin into a festival?!) - security will be all over that like a nanoparticle on a festival flower crown. And, for the love of all things Outside Lands, leave the drone at home - we don't want any mid-concert crashes!

Surprisingly, Outside Lands has a super cool sustainability program in place, which includes using compostable and recyclable materials throughout the festival. Who knew you could have so much fun going green? It's all about reducing, reusing, and rocking out!

In all seriousness, the bag policy is in place to ensure everyone has a safe and awesome time. So, be sure to check the rules, plan ahead, and remember: clear bags are your friends! With a little prep, you'll be golden and ready to rock out to your favorite bands in no time.
