Rose Bowl Bag Policy 2020

So, you're planning to attend the Rose Bowl in 2020 and you're wondering what's the deal with the bag policy? Well, let me tell you, it's not as exciting as the game itself, but it's definitely important to know what you can and can't bring into the stadium. You don't want to be that person who gets turned away at the gate because of a prohibited purse!

The Rose Bowl has a clear bag policy, which means you can only bring in clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that are 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. Yes, it's a bit frustrating, but think of it as a security measure to ensure everyone's safety. And trust me, you don't want to be the one responsible for delaying the whole crowd!

A Little History

The clear bag policy was first introduced in 2013, and it's been a game-changer (pun intended) ever since. The Rose Bowl isn't the only stadium with this policy, by the way - many other major venues have adopted similar rules to enhance security. It's all about being proactive and prepared for any situation, you know?

Now, you might be wondering what happens if you show up with a non-compliant bag. Well, let's just say you won't be turned away completely - but you will have to stash your stuff in a locker or check it in with the stadium staff. It's not the end of the world, but it's definitely a hassle you can avoid by just bringing a clear bag in the first place!

Here's a fun fact: the Rose Bowl's clear bag policy has actually reduced wait times at the gates! Who knew that being more restrictive could actually make things faster and more efficient? It's all about planning ahead and being prepared, folks!

Exemptions and Exceptions

Now, don't worry if you have a medical necessity that requires a specific type of bag - there are exemptions in place for those situations. Just be sure to check with the stadium staff ahead of time to get the okay. And if you're a parent with a diaper bag, don't worry - you're good to go!

It's also worth noting that clutch purses and wallets are still allowed, as long as they're 5" x 7" or smaller. So, you can still bring your essentials - just be sure to keep them small! And if you're feeling crafty, you can even make your own clear bag using a plastic bin and some ribbon - just don't say I didn't warn you!
