The Way We Live Now Cast

So, you want to know about the cast of The Way We Live Now? Well, buckle up, folks, because this is going to be a wild ride! The show is based on a novel by Anthony Trollope, and let me tell you, the drama is real.

The show features a talented ensemble cast, including David Suchet, Matthew Macfadyen, and Cillian Murphy - yes, that Cillian Murphy, the one who's been breaking hearts since the dawn of time. The cast's chemistry is undeniable, and their performances are so good, you'll forget they're not actually related. Family drama has never been so entertaining!

The Main Characters

At the center of the show is Augustus Melmotte, played by David Suchet, a financier with a shady past and a penchant for getting out of sticky situations. He's like a modern-day superhero, but instead of a cape, he wears a top hat and carries a cane. Meanwhile, his daughter Marie is played by the lovely Shirley Henderson, who brings a touch of sass and vulnerability to the role.

But the real star of the show is Paul Montague, played by Cillian Murphy, a young and ambitious entrepreneur who gets caught up in Melmotte's web of deceit. He's like a fish out of water, trying to navigate the complex world of high finance, but with a lot more charm and good looks. And let's not forget Miss Longestaffe, played by Talulah Riley, who brings a much-needed dose of wit and sarcasm to the show.

The show's settings are also worth mentioning, with its opulent mansions and lavish parties. It's like a time machine to the 19th century, but with better costumes and more drama. And the music? Absolutely stunning, with a soundtrack that will leave you humming the tunes for days.
