So, you're heading to a University of Tennessee (UT) sports game and you're wondering what's the deal with the clear bag policy? Well, let me tell you, it's not just a fancy new trend, it's actually a super important safety measure. And trust me, you don't want to be that guy who gets turned away at the gate because of a prohibited purse.
The clear bag policy is actually pretty simple: if you want to bring a bag into the stadium, it's gotta be completely transparent. That means no more cute little clutches or backpacks, folks! You'll have to opt for a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag instead, or one of those fancy clear totes that are all the rage these days.
Why the Clear Bag Policy?
The reason behind this policy is to enhance security and make it easier for staff to spot any, ahem, contraband that might be sneaking into the stadium. It's all about keeping fans safe, and let's be real, who doesn't love a good game without any drama? The policy applies to all UT sports events, so whether you're a football, basketball, or volleyball fan, you'll need to follow the rules.

Now, you might be wondering what kind of bags are actually allowed. Well, small clutch bags (about the size of a hand) are still okay, as long as they're not too flashy. And if you have a medical necessity that requires a special bag, don't worry, you'll be taken care of. Just be sure to check with the stadium staff beforehand to make sure you're all set.
So, what happens if you show up to the game with a non-compliant bag? Don't panic! You can either return it to your car or check it at the gate for a small fee. And if you're feeling extra prepared, you can even purchase a clear bag at the stadium's merchandise booth. Talk about a convenient solution!

So there you have it, folks! The clear bag policy might seem like a hassle at first, but trust me, it's all worth it in the end. Just remember to pack smart, and you'll be singing "Rocky Top" in no time. And hey, if you're feeling extra adventurous, you can even make a statement with your clear bag – after all, clear is the new black, right?
