Cullen's journey as Optimus Prime began in the 80s, when he first voiced the character in the animated series. But what's really cool is that he was not the first choice for the role - he was actually brought in as a replacement, and the rest, as they say, is history. Joe - the man was a true legend in the world of animation and voice acting.

But here's a quirky fact: did you know that Cullen's iconic Optimus Prime voice was actually inspired by his brother, Larry Cullen? Yep, it's true - he based the character's voice on his brother's, and it's a testament to the power of family inspiration. And funnily enough, Cullen himself was a bit of a tech-phobe, preferring to focus on the art of voice acting rather than getting too caught up in the latest gadgets and gizmos.
